2416 image1818-51: Three decrees, one of which about introducing of Cavallini imprints on letter-sheets and showing the examples of the two sets of three different imprints each, one printed in dark green, the other set embossed print only. The pages are a bit creased at the bottom. Another decree about reorganization of the postal system (some tolerable foxing), a third one 'LETTRES-PATENTES'. These three documents are printed in French language, the two first have been printed in 'Turin' (Torino), the latter in Chambêry. 7547 image1855/63: King Emanuel II, 20 ct. indigo, used on redirected mourning cover, from RAVENA (Papal States) to MADRID (Spain), via Sardinia and redirected to BIARRITZ (France), dated 18 July 1862, tied by Ravenna datestamp, insufficently franked with black FRANCOBOLLO / INSUFFICIENTE, sent by rail from Ancona to Bologna, Emilia-Romangna, reaching Turin on the 19th July, then to the Irun frontier on the 22nd and Madrid 24th July where blue charge mark applied '8Rs' and crossed out, addressee not found, redirected to Biarritz, returned to Irun 27th July and reaching Bayonne 6th Aug, sent then by rail to Salies de Bearn (7th Aug) and to Bayonne again (8th Aug), numerous transit marks to the reverse, damage to lower right corner and some scuffs and imperfections to be expected, a fine stamp and a cover full of character.
