The catalogues and slipcase are in pristine condition, included 1298 auction lots of postal history. Prices realized pages are included, showing that all lots sold and ranged from $100 to $180,000, including letters from John Adams, Stephen F. Austin, Jedediah Smith, VP Elbridge Gerry, James Madison, Pres. James Monroe, Gen. Winfield Scott and many other famous people; many letters describing battles from the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Black Hawk War, Seminole War, Texas War for Independence, etc.; guns, books, manuscripts, etc. This was an amazing collection with many lots illustrated. Reading the descriptions of these lots and letters will bring weeks of enjoyment to any lover of history
