1878 2d rose p12 x 12½ (CP C2e, SG 165) with gutter at right, on envelope tied by barred oval cancel as addressed to Miss Stout, Christchurch. B/s CHCH 16 ? 78. Cover small tear at left, stamp a little soiled. RPSNZ cert (2019). This is the only example of either compound or perfs 12 & 12½ on cover listed in census of these in "The New Zealand Stamp Collector 2018, p113-4". (Image)
