Country List
This is the country list for Extended Features at StampAuctionNetwork.
We spell the country out with no abbrievations, or dashes, unless that is how the country is actually spelled. Examples "Diego-Suarez, "and" not "&", "Saint" not "St."
We use the name of the country when it was issuing stamps.
German, Italian States. Generally listed under the country with () for the state. Examples Canada (Newfoundland), India Feudatory States (Bijawar), Germany (Baden)
We just use the country name without reference to the colonizer, unless the name is "French Guiana"
Only use countries, Latin America, Africa, British Commonwealth are not countries. Use Worldwide if the lot is mixed. When you see a general category, it is meant as a Catch All, so that we can go back in and specify them manually.
Offices. Follow this example: French Offices in China, French Offices in Crete, French Offices in Egypt
Occupations are found with the occupied country. Example. Belgium (German Occupation)
United States is broken down into United States (Hawaii), (Canal Zone), and (Guam), However Philippines and Puerto Rico are under the country name.
