May 11" (1850) circular datestamp on piece of blue cover to Ludlow Beebe in Philadelphia

Very Fine. An outstanding 1847 Issue combination use including the 10¢ "Harelip" variety.

This combination use paid double the over-300 miles rate from Charleston to the Northeast. The vast majority of such 20c rate covers were prepaid with a pair of 10c stamps--this is a rare exception.
