3914   Revenues, State Liquor, Wine and Beer Stamp Collection. Offered intact as received, on Bonem album pages, 18 binders, with a space for liquor, wine, and beer stamp from each state, nearly 2,000 different items, value spread across a wide range of states and issues, good value in Florida, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin, and better Beer stamps from Idaho, also Utah Beer stamps and labels, the owner catalogued the collection using the Revenue State Catalog, however several items in the collection are not listed in that catalogue (including a few proofs and essays), so the owner used his cost on those unlisted items, the total value (catalogue value if listed, cost if not) comes to about $24,000.00, condition is slightly mixed, but overall quality is much better than usually seen, an excellent basis on which to continue collecting this challenging field of revenue stamps
