FINE AND RARE RETURNED CHINA POSTAL REPLY CARD TO RUSSIA USING BOTH CHINESE AND RUSSIAN STAMPS.

At this time, Harbin, Manchuria had a sizeable Russian population. After the Russian Revolution in 1917, over 100,000 Russian White Guards and refugees retreated to Harbin. Communication and relations between Russia and China at this period was quite tense, hence an explanation why the Chinese postage was left uncancelled, and possibly not accepted. (Image)
