Nov. 2" (1861) circular datestamp on folded letter to Amsterdam, Netherlands, sender's route directive "Via Liverpool" at lower left, red London (Nov. 19) and receiving (Nov. 21) backstamps, manuscript rates, part of address scratched out and expertly restored

VERY FINE APPEARANCE. A RARE FRANKING WITH THE 10-CENT FIRST DESIGN, SCOTT 62B, AND 10-CENT 1861 ISSUE, SCOTT 68, ON A COVER TO AMSTERDAM. THIS IS THE ONLY RECORDED SUCH FRANKING TO THIS DESTINATION.
