1075   Image"Wechsler and Abraham, Buy Your Postage Stamps in Brooklyn". 99 x 34mm outer envelope, with inner sleeve with sewn seam at bottom and wax interleaving, a 1c Bank Note stamp (212) has been placed between interleaving to demonstrate how it works, there is room for three stamps between each interleaving, minor wrinkling, Very Fine and very unusual early example of an advertisement on a booklet precursor, in 1887 the postmaster in Brooklyn was Joseph C. Hendrix, the advertised firm became Abraham & Strauss which eventually merged into Macy's (Image)
