2146 c ImageISRAEL, 1948 Postage Due Cover. 10m Green Ship Interim Period stamp (Bale 23) used on 6.6.48 cover (after it was demonetized), "T" postage due handstamp, with 20m Postage Due (Bale PD4) tied by 26.7.48 datestamp, unclaimed cachet on reverse, R.L.O. datestamp of 6.9.48, returned to sender on 9.1.49 with 5m and 10m Postage Dues (Bale PD2, PD3) tied, the 15 mils used to pay the return delivery fee, cover with some cover faults and mended tears (strengthened with cardboard), condition aside, this is an extraordinary cover, twice using postage due stamps on the same cover, with 1984 Muentz certificate (Image)

2147 c ImageISRAEL, 1948, 20m Blue on Yellow Paper, Postage Due (Bale PD4). Used on letter sheet originating in Berlin on July 15, 1948, sent by courier to the Jewish Agency in Paris, who then brought it to Haifa, where boxed "To Pay 10 Mils" handstamp, with "1" crossed out and "2" manually corrected, postage due stamp with full tab cancelled on arrival July 27, letter sheet with central file fold and a few small tears not affecting stamps or markings, tabbed postage dues on commercial mail are rare (Image)
