938 og Image16c 1988 Postal Cards, Two-Sided Essay (UX124-E, UX125-E). Single card with printing on both sides, front side with Settling of Ohio, Northwest Territory and 16c value, reverse with Hearst Castle Cal. and 16c value, crisp and Very Fine, extremely rare, these two designs were issued in 1988 with 15c values, according to the UPSS, prior to the April 1988 postage increase the U.S. Postal Service did not know whether the new domestic rate would be 15c or 16c so essays were made for both rates, while cards showing one design and 16c are known, this example with both designs and 16c on the same card is extremely rare, possibly unique (Image)
