FINE CENTERING AS ALWAYS. THE UNIQUE CORNER-MARGIN PLATE NUMBER COPY OF THE DOUBLE "CANAL" ERROR.

The Double "Canal" error was created when a second overprint was made along the righthand vertical row. The "Canal" portion of the second overprint is on the stamp, while the "Zone" portion is on the selvage. This is especially desirable with the selvage showing the "Zone" and it is unique with the light green and black plate numbers at top.

Only ten pairs from the same sheet have the overprint missing from the right stamp. Accompanied by a piece of lefthand selvage from the sheet, where the shifted "Canal Zone" was applied.
