1122 cover 583a J image1926, 2¢ carmine, perf. 10, booklet stamp (Scott 583a), position J, showing complete horizontal guideline at foot further highlighted by the extra-large margin there, vivid color, tied by "Saint Petersburg/Fla." duplex, Very Fine and a great rarity with only three examples of the rotary press booklet stamp with guide line recorded on cover.


Unlike the flat press plates, the rotary press plates did not have any guide lines, except the first two plates, 17450 and 17451. Only one full pane (vertical guide line at right, ex Beutel) and three single stamps on cover are recorded with guide lines.

Colman to H.A. Robinette (both early stamp dealers); sorted by issue, four with captured partial plate numbers, some from Hawaii (Territorial at the time) and a few foreign destinations including India and Straights Settlements; few minor faults as always, generally Fine to Very Fine, see the highlights online.
