3075 nhbl 207 var. image1882, 3¢ green, A.B.N.C. printing, on punched double paper (Scott 207 var.), right sheet margin block of 4, o.g., never hinged, fresh and bright; the upper layer of paper punched with large 7mm holes in a right array prior to printing, the whole then printed so the design appears on both layers (a variety on the Gideon Massey patent, formerly called the "Douglas patent punch"); front and back partly separated, as usual, small piece of front missing on lower left stamp and pulled perforation at upper left, otherwise Fine to Very Fine. A very scarce multiple, this variety unlisted by Scott. (Image)
