Richardson" with a mostly complete "DEAL/SHIP LRE" handstamp and three manuscript ratings; bit of light soiling on the front, otherwise Fine. This is the earliest recorded use of this rare Grenada marking, which was used for only about a year after Grenada was ceded back to Britain by France following the American Revolution; the letter makes reference to the British flag flying in Grenada after four and a half years under the French.
