A great rarity. The 4-reales stamp was originally printed on yellow paper, but when that supply ran out, a few sheets of white paper (fewer than five) were utilized to complete the last printing in 1868.

One of the rarest stamps of Mexico. Only seven used examples are recorded, several of which have faults or defects.
