3326 P 191P image1879, 90¢ carmine, imperf proof on stamp paper (Scott 191P), pair, o.g., previously hinged, absolutely gorgeous rich shade; a sound and attractive example of this rarely offered imperf pair, which had always been known to philatelists as Scot #191b until the editors at Scott kicked this are item to the back of the Specialized catalog - now referring to it as Scott #191P5 - imperforate on gummed stamp paper, rare none-the-less, Extremely Fine, with 1993 P.F. certificate.

3327 () 196 image1880 Special Printing, 7¢ scarlet vermilion (Scott 196), without gum as issued, radiant rich color and impression upon soft paper and within nicely framed margins which is most uncommon; hinge thin, Very Fine appearance, most of the soft paper bank note special printings come with small to large faults due to the paper upon which they were affixed and presented upon, this is a truly superior example as far as centering and would satisfy the most discerning collector, with 2016 P.S.E. and 1960 P.F. certificates.
