1919 printed POW Lettersheet with Very Worn Heading & 29mm 'PRISONER OF WAR LETTER/FREE/- - -' at upper-right and 87mm 'Nicht
zwischen die Zeilen schreiben!' (= do not write between the lines) within, endorsed on the flap "Max Woititzki Holdsworthy NSW/GCC/36.11" whose letter extends onto the back panel clearly inscribed 'NICHT HIER SCHREIBEN' (= do not write here),
endorsed on the face "Anything further of this nature will result in the suspension of your correspondence/DM/Censor" and not forwarded to his wife in Brisbane. An excellent example of a breach of the Regulations being penalised. (Image1) (Image2)

1919 (Sep 2) printed POW Postal Card with 25mm 'PRISONER OF WAR LETTER/FREE/-' at upper-right, endorsed on the flap "2.9.19' &
signed "H Krischke/Company K Mess 1...Holdsworthy", to a masseur in Victoria with extremely late usage of the 'CENSORED/RHolman LIEUT COL/.../LIVERPOOL' cachet in violet and 'LIVERPOOL/=NSW=' cds, small faults & some toning on the face. Somewhat
cryptic message about his stolen stamp collection: "...The Philatelic world will be...indebted to me when I...will expose the tactics of these bodyies [sic] re Smythe & myself..." Gary Diffen records these Postal Cards 27.4.1917 to 15.7.1917 only.
This example is two years later and the only example recorded from Holdsworthy Camp. See EFR at page 97. (Image1) (Image2)

violet, to "Mayor Alsoph [= Major Alsop ?]/GCC Holdsworthy/Liverpool Camp" with partial 'BRITISH ARMY POST OFFICE/12DE/17' transit & 'PASSED BY/CENSOR SD' cachet of Sydney. The sender is of Slavic origin and his comments are not well-expressed,
perhaps deliberately cryptic. He was apparently formerly interned at Holdsworthy. A remarkable origin/destination item. See EFR at page 91.
