1918-25 KGV Sideface Scenic Issues 1½d brown on cream card Perf 10 with 'CARTING - FAR NORTH' (camels, camel drivers & wagon) view
as ACSC LC43(29) but unlisted in the ACSC on this stock, unused & unsealed, some light staining & minor horizontal bend across the front panel. The ACSC lists this issue on grey mottled card or grey surfaced card only; the only similar stock in this
period is the 'Herring & Co.', London off-white stock used for the last printings of the 1½d red cards. We are unsure whether this is in the nature of a proof or trial, or whether a different stock was inadvertently included in the normal print
run. (Image1) (Image2)
