1857-67 Watermark Double-Lined Numerals 4d pale blue Printed on Both Sides SG 36var with the original impression on the 'reverse'
inverted relative to the 'face', margins in places & large at right, repaired tear at lower-right, First Allocation Barred Numeral '18' of Campbell Town, unlisted in Gibbons. Ex Gary Diffen: estimated at £2500-3000 but unsold. Gibbons do list such an
error in the bright blue shade SG 38a, Cat £12,500. This is apparently based on Gary Diffen's very fine & attractive example having sold for £8400.

1903 V/Crown Sidefaces 9d ultramarine ACSC T69D (SG 242f) block of 4, well-centred, hinge remainder on the upper units, the lower
units - one with a natural gum aberration - are unmounted, Cat $3000+ (£2000+) for mounted singles. A rare multiple of this elusive stamp, of which no used examples have been recorded. The ACSC speculates that the colour was rejected after only one
