mounted, Cat $1000 (£300+ for normal). Although the ACSC states (footnote 4) that Vignette Plate variety (V)u is "believed to only occur on the final (Ash) printing", the shade of this stamp suggests that it is from a Harrison printing and the
absence of Duty Plate variety (D)ua in conjunction with (V)u indicates that it stems from a printing prior to the transposition of the Vignette Plate (see the next two Lots). (Image1) (Image2)
