Ex Roland Geitenbeek, on his exhibit page with plating notes. [Almost certainly the finest Type B reconstruction extant]

1854-55 Woodblocks 1/- rose-pink & blue 'REGISTERED' SG 34 large-margined example from the First Printing with fully developed Cracked Woodblock Presenting as a White Horizontal Line Across the Top of 'VICTORIA', untidy BN cancel largely clear of the affected area. Superb! Ex Roland Geitenbeek. An important variety, and the only example in private hands. [The other two recorded examples are in the Royal Collection and the State Library of Victoria]

1854-55 Woodblocks 1/- rose-pink & blue 'REGISTERED' SG 34 complete reconstruction of the 25 positions (5x5) all with Type 1B 'Overprint', all except [25] with full margins including unusually large examples [1, 14, 16], a range of cancels including Barred Ovals '10' '37' and Barred Numerals '28' '32' '36' '44' & '80', condition a bit mixed, Cat £5000. Ex Roland Geitenbeek, who believed that this Type 1B reconstruction is the only one to have been completed. [With plating notes]

1854-55 Woodblocks 2/- bluish green/pale yellow SG 35 complete reconstuction of the 25 positions (5x5), virtually all with full margins - a couple touched - and including several very large examples notably [16, 22, 23 25], the last an extraordinary L/R corner example, mostly with neat cancels of Melbourne or Geelong, [24] with fine BN '79' (rated RR) of Streatham, Cat £5000. Almost certainly the finest reconstruction extant. Ex Roland Geitenbeek.

1856-58 Perkins Bacon Queen-on-Throne 1d in carmine & 6d in bright violet die proofs on wove paper. Superb & gorgeous! BPA Certificate (1993). [Geoff Kellow at page 103 states these were printed by De La Rue for the 1872 South Kensington Exhibition and "about four copies of each are known". A similar duo sold at a Sydney auction in 2009 for $8740]

1856-58 Perkins Bacon Queen-on-Throne Rouletted 6d bright blue as SG 73 but Imperforate, close to good margins are wide enough to support the absence of rouletting, large-part o.g. A great rarity. [Geoff Kellow at page 103 refers to the release in England in the late-19th century of remainders of the 1d and 6d. Of the latter he states "...the printer retained apparently very few copies" which, because the rouletting was done in Victoria, were imperforate. "Five copies only are known: two pairs are in the Tapling and Royal Collections". That statement suggests that this is either the only recorded single or a newly discovered example]
