day with couple bottom edge tone spots, Very Fine. Scott No. 293 var.; Estimate $200 - 300.
The tickets feature an engraving of the James B. Eads Bridge that was used as the model for the $2 vignette. Although the new
die engraved by Marcus W. Baldwin for the stamp vignette is small and less detailed than the image on these tickets, it is very accurate to the source material.
