A WONDERFUL ON COVER EXAMPLE OF THE 1867 2R JALAPA PROVISIONAL.

A very small supply of the 1861 issue was sent to Jalapa in 1867 and was transferred to the Perote and Misantla Village post offices, all receiving the small size district overprint as used on the Eagle issues. With most known usages from Perote.
