Worldwide Internet / Mail Bid Auction - January 4, 2022

Our next internet / mail bid sale includes over 4000 lots with presale estimates of over £500,000. In this holiday season auction closing on January 4th at 5pm (GMT) highlights include:
  • Many solid country collections, postal history, key sets and singles, noted British Asia collections in our mixed section, British Commonwealth covers, George Sixth mint collections in printed albums, British West Indies collections. Low starting prices on Europa key sets including Liechtenstein, Luxembourg & Spanish Andorra at less than 10% catalogue unmounted mint (never hinged).
  • Dozens of world albums with 1000s in each collection in Scott or Minkus albums (great for winter nights), South America collections, Br. C/wealth omnibus sets 1937-1949. Postal History including early Switzerland correspondance to Liverpool with French Exchange office entry marks, Crimea war letters from a French soldier at Sevastopol. French pre-stamp mails, undercover mails to Box 506, bice selection of Zeppelin mails and postcards.

  • Italian post offices in China key singles. Israel 1948 to modern extensive collections and singles. Kenya, Uganda & Tanganyika noted 1922 £20 red and green overprint Specimen (SG Cat £1700). Liechtenstein well represented collections into the £1000s. Macau modern unmounted mint collections.
  • New Zealand Chalon heads on early covers (ex David Patterson), Russia Dr Brender covers from 1921, scarce 1922 Philately for Children overprints, Civil War issues, P.O. In China. Sweden high value collections, Switzerland International Organisations, Thailand including revenues.
  • United States including 1893 Columbian Expo proofs set 16 (Scott $2110), Airmails with 1930 Zeppelin singles to $2.60. Plate blocks collection in 50 albums. Our usual offering of Great Britain with extensive sections covering all reigns with useful gems throughout to build on your collection.
