Slightly mixed condition
1916/58 (ca.), US Coupons & Advertising Cards, assembly of over 150 unused and used, showing an abundance of themes and companies, with cigars, malls, flowers, alcohol, soap, and more. Overall in good condition, an attractive lot, neatly housed in one album.
1928/38, US Varney-Airmail Airgrams, collection of 65 unused and used, predominantly 1928/29 issues, some better usages with returned mail, underfranked to England with postage due on arrival, first flights Albany-Buffalo, C.A.M Seatlle 1929. etc. Interesting assembly of this early contract mail carrier, mostyl in fine condition, neatly housed in one album.
1942/45 (ca.), US V-Mail Service, large specialized collection of unused and used, showing an abundance of duplicates, complete boxes, illustrated formulars including Greetings with pre-printed messages, and more. A most useful assembly of the Victory Mail service, overall in very good condition.
1945/85 (ca.), US Aerograms, massive collection with many hundreds of unused and used, showing a wide range of usages and an abundance of printing varieties, inclduing missing colours, paper folds, message card blanks and other specialties, many carefully identified and classified by UPSS numbers. The collection includes a wealth of usages with forwarded mail, inconnu, déménagé, missent or taxed, as well as Navy usage, POW aerograms, censor mail, etc.; many better and scarcer items throughout with UPSS-Nr. S61b (dark blue printing omitted), S63PUV-2, MRU7a (message card blank), MR26a-SEPI (message printed on both sides), RL26d on MR26d, and more. A highly specialized and comprehensive assembly formed with great care and difficult to duplicate, overall in very good condition.
