The lot defies easy categorization; on first look, we noted a block of six Nova Scotia Sc. #8 (1c) with 5 being NH, and block of six Nova Scotia #11 (8½c) with 5 being NH (with toning), sold by Bileski; an unusual Mint Hinged Denmark Christmas seals 1904-1951 collection that appears nearly complete; a variety of hunting permit stamps of US (including Sc. #RW35 and #RW36 both NH, c.v. $130), and Canada Wildlife Conservation stamps (including 7 copies of Canada 1985, van Dam c.v. $15 each). Also Canada Sc. #93 (10c Edward VII) F-VF H; large used blocks of up to 25 of high denomination Canada; Canada Postal Scrip 2nd issue complete (except the 40c; Canada #223 MNH plate block (c.v. $150, slight perf separation at top); an attractive series of Italian First Day Covers with colourful cachets (1959-1965); many hundreds of used worldwide in envelopes, unchecked by us; and Canadian face value postage (not counted, but likely more than $50).
