581 CVR   image1931 (July 13), Quidi Vidi flight cover to St. John's, franked with strip of six 4c Prince of Wales, tied by Corner Brook split-ring, with double-circle c.d.s. arrival backstamp (Jul 21), "First Air Mail Corner Brook - St John's" straight-line handstamp on front, some light tone spots at top, a desirable cover. The July 13 flight from Corner Brook to St John's was interrupted by a forced landing at Norris Arm. We noted an advertising cover from Browning's Biscuits and a cover from Sydney, N.S. to Bonavista with an OPEN.HALL receiver on the front dated SP.21.07. A useful group for the collector or dealer alike. Overall fine or better.

590 CVR/PC   image1891-1947, group of more than 40 covers and postal stationery, covering a broad are of interests: a 1942 uprated and censored post card, a 194( ) OHMS cover with Newfoundland Rangers auxiliary marking, a fold out Letter Card franked with a 2c Cabot (postmarked Duckworth Street), Grenfell Mission, Butler covers, T.P.Os and Air Mail stamps as well as a 1929 cover from George Ball / General Dealer franked with a 3c on 6c Provisional from the Pictorial issue. We also saw a 1918 WWI front from St. John's to Bermuda to a Private Crossley. Overall fine or better.
