We note roughly 1,780 United Nations- New York first day covers, ranging from 1951 to 1997, along with roughly 515 United Nations- Geneva first day covers, ranging from 1969 to 1999, and 210 United Nations- Vienna first day covers, ranging from 1979 to 1999. We note singles, pairs, and block frankings, along with private cachet makers Art Craft, Artmaster, and Cachet Craft. The collection also includes an accumulation of mint and used United Nations- Geneva stamps, ranging from the 1970s onward , along with United Nations- Vienna, ranging from 1979 onward. Owner's catalogue value for both totals $1,504. This extensive lot also includes roughly 90 first flight covers (including flights from Air India, Avianca, Pan Am, and Icelandic Airlines to name a few), roughly 230 postal stationery items (includes cards, envelopes and air letters), with owner's notations of various postmarks and cancellations (including hand rollers, slogans, etc), and roughly 40 annual souvenir folders. The collection begins with roughly 450 postal stationery envelopes in two thick binders, ranging from Scott #U10/U630, and includes U10 (x3, c.v. $210 total), U34 (c.v. $60), U58 (x3, c.v. $60 total), with the majority of envelopes either unused or first day covers post 1920.The collection continues with roughly 400 postal cards in two think binders, ranging from Scott #UX1/UX306, and includes UX1 (x2, c.v. $140 total), along with a few cards cataloguing $10 and up, with most of the cards either unused or first days (few with cachets), post 1950. The binder also includes roughly 75 paid reply postal cards, ranging from Scott #UY2/UY41, mostly unused and unsevered post 1950. The final binder contains roughly 300 air post cards and air stamped envelopes and air letter sheets, ranging from UXC1/UXC24 and UC1/UC80.
