1897 og/nh Worldwide imageWorldwide Rare Collection of 1957 UPU Congress Presentation Folders, from about 60 different countries, offered by delegates of those countries during the famous 1957 UPU Congress in Ottawa, Canada. Each elaborate folder contains mint stamps from that country, mostly from 1956 and 1957, either hinged or NH in mounts. Countries of note include China, Saudi Arabia, Iceland, Russia, Burma, Japan, Ireland, India, Iraq, South Africa, and 50 more. Many or most of the folders also contain a business card-style presentation card from the country's postal officials. Also includes a booklet with the names and pictures of all the delegates (in French, with water damage). The stamps have been well preserved, are quite fresh with bright colours and very fine. A very difficult collection to assemble, with many better sets and singles and probably a high catalogue value. (Scan 1) (Scan 2) (Scan 3) (Scan 4) (Scan 5) (All Scans)
