Also includes a selection of used stamps in the same range, cataloguing $989. We noted some extra copies of some denominations, including shades and possibly paper varieties, as well as two strips of three of #84S and 91S (these with SPECIMEN overprint, but counted as regular). Hass certificate. This lot also includes a group of what appears to be forgeries, with 1c (pair and two singles), 5c (x3), 20c (x5 including two with faults) and 40c (x4). These include shades, and we assess them as forgeries based solely on the fact that they appear to have vertical lines between "DE SUEZ" and "POSTES" (as opposed to cross hatched lines).
