Highlights include the 1860 large star watermark 2d blue used (SG#5), 1862/67 rough perforations to 1/- gray used, the registration stamps inc. first olive yellow shade (#11), followed by the 1866 4d lilac handstamped specimen and 5/- rose used (#58),then the 1868 perf 13 issues to 1/- used, followed by a very colorful well-filled second page including the 1879 unwatermarked 6d and 1/- (#116/117) used, 1880 high values complete used (fiscal cancels), through to the scarce die II variety on the half-penny surcharge used (#151a, pen cancel), as well as the 1882/95 shillings and pound issues with varieties inc. two types of the £,1 deep green. Occasional small faults as to be expected, however condition is far above average with generally vibrant colors. This collection was formed 80 years ago and is well worth checking for the many varieties that have come to light over the intervening decades.
