Lot 301 - South America. 1928 Covers carried on the first experimental flight from Santiago to Buenos Ayres (May 8), or Montevideo to Rio de Janeiro (July 2, posted at Asuncion, Paraguay), both signed by the pilot J.H Doolittle, who later achieved fame as Commander of the first bombing raid on Tokyo in World War Two.
