The text is very long, about the beginning of the "PLAGE" (yellow fever) that ravaged Buenos Aires and Córdoba, and the fear that it would extend to Salta due to the little precautions by the police to avoid contagion. Then there is a comment that "los montoneros de Varela" were being protected by Bolivia (in Antofagasta), from where they attacked Salta, also many other family considerations relating to study, etc., very interesting! The text is about commercial issues, but there is an interesting paragraph about the politicial situation: "López Jordán has proved in the battle of Los Sauces that he is quite strong and that it is no easy task to defeat him. Conesa was very close to defeating him and he was only able to stay in the battlefield without getting any advantage in a 3-hour long combat.
