30/SE/1871 Buenos Aires - Asendorf (Germany): Cover dispatched at the French Postal Agency to collect. It received the octagonal handstamp of the paquebot Gironde: "BUENOS AYRES - PAQ. FR. J Nº1", and "F. /48" of the Postal Treaty between
France and Prussia of 1866. “F” indicates the credit in favor of France, and “48” is the article of the treaty affecting the shipment, in this case unpaid covers from Brazil, USA, colonies or countries overseas sent to Prussia-Germany. The cover was
taxed 10 Silvergroschen: manuscript “10” in blue pencil, single rate. On reverse with transit marking of Paris and Asendorf arrival, excellent quality, rare!
