Stamps & Covers of The World - October 14-15, 2025

A wide-ranging all World Auction of over 900 lots spanning all reigns with notable strength in the British Commonwealth. Highlights include KEVII/KGV die proofs; polar exploration material (National Antarctic Expedition, “Nimrod” ephemera and signatures) - and an impressive run of country collections and specialised singles.

There are strong sections for Hong Kong, K.U.T., Rhodesia/Southern Rhodesia (key varieties including a 1/- imperf between pair, and the scarce overprint omitted on the 1909-12 £1 grey-purple. Notable rarities appear for Batum, New Guinea, Long Island provisionals, and the scarce Grenada 2½d KGVI perf variety. In Singapore there is a complete sheet of the 1954 $500 keyplate Revenue – a stunning multiple of this high value.

Asia is well represented beyond Hong Kong, headlined by classic China with a Large Dragon 1878 3ca complete sheet of 25. Postal history is interleaved throughout the Auction giving something for every collector.
