88   image1859-1927 used collection (hundreds) on stocksheets, organised in catalogue order but not annotated.  A substantial array of Brittanias with many no watermark, naturally in mixed condition but with many fine examples.  Numerous 1870-81, some watermark varieties including better; 1873 5s x 4, fair only; 1878 1d on half 5s, quite reasonable; later QV with 1882 to 5s, 1892 to 2s6d (both), Jubilees both papers, 1905 set, Nelson sets, 1912 set, 1914 plus 1d watermark reversed (unpriced in Part 1), 1918 3s (both, the bright violet badly centred), and a few later.  Condition mixed; viewing recommended to appreciate the scope of this good collection (Image)
