3-page letter from Sarah Barber to her cousin, who says she just had her picture taken in Montréal and he would now "find me very beautiful", also discusses what she thinks of slavery, and more family matters. Creases, edge tears and overall aging,
else overall fine.

1882 England Cover to
Kingston, Redirected to Québec, a blue cover mailed from Baily England on JUN.14.1882 (backstamp) to Kingston Ontario (JUN.29 receiver) via Dublin Ireland (JUN.17 backstamp). Upon arrival in Kingston, the cover was forwarded to the St Louis Hotel
in Québec City (JUL.6 receiver). Three 1c Small Queens were added and tied by a Kingston JUL.5 duplex (with a second strike on the English stamps). Aging, upper corner faults and backflap problems, still a scarce usage of the Small Queen issue.
