Postmark, a very fine (yet only partially readable) and light strike in purple, dated (JUL__ 1909) ties a 1c King Edward VII stamp to a picture postcard (showing a view of Prince Rupert Grand Trunk Pacific Hotel) addressed to Calgary, with a Prince Rupert B.C. JUL.19.1909 c.d.s. The card has a corner crease, still very fine. We believe this may be a Ludlow # S-24a (RF 500) or Gray #WW-17 (RF "G" but 3 years later). 180 CVR   image1896 (Jun. 4) Montreal Imperial Wavy Line Cancel with Variety, a "Canadian Pacific Railway Monthly Statement of Earnings" 1c Queen Victoria stationery to London England showing an inverted "4" in the dater hub of the M2 wavy line cancel (the day before the LRD of the second period of use). Inverted indicia in any early Canadian machine cancellation is very rare, this being a very fine example.
