Toronto "G" Bickerdike Involute Flag Cancel, a 1c Jubilee postal card is cancelled with a fine strike of this rare postmark, only used for two days on Aug. 10 and 11. August 10 also happens to be the first day Bickerdike canceling machines were
used in Toronto. The back of the card has a neatly typed message from the Gold King Mining Co. of Toronto, asking someone to participate in the Klondike gold rush on their behalf. Tiny piece missing from lower left corner, still a very fine and rare

Complete Set (A to F)
of Rare Toronto M6 Bickerdike Cancels Used in February 1902, with dies A (Feb. 4, the only day recorded), B (Feb. 4, only recorded for 2 days on Feb. 4 and 5), C (Feb. 4, the only day recorded), D (Feb. 4. the only day recorded), E (Feb. 4, the
only day recorded) and F (Feb. 4, only recorded for 2 days on Feb. 3 and 4). These A to F dies replaced the old "barred flag" dies that had been in use since 1897 and were beginning to wear. The M6 cancels were used for only a few days, then replaced
by the newly acquired International machines. A very difficult group to assemble and all covers are very fine. (Scan 1)

Hamilton F7 Bickerdike Involute Flag Cancel on Illustrated Advertising Cover, a very fine strike from the "B" machine, dated on the last day of use before this obliterator would be sent to get reinforcement bars added. The cover is lavishly
illustrated on both sides with wares that could be obtained from Walter Woods & Co. A lovely and very fine cover with many attributes, would go nicely with the next lot. Ex Cloutier and Leigh Hamilton Bickerdike Machine exhibits. (Scan 1)

Hamilton F8 Bickerdike Barred Flag Cancel on Illustrated Advertising Cover, a very fine strike from the "B" machine, dated on the first day of use after this F7 obliterator received its two reinforcement bars, thus becoming an F8. The cover is

Hamilton M4 Bickerdike Straight Line Provisional Cancel, a very fine strike, dated on one of the three days (March 11, 14, 15) where the two Hamilton involute flag dies were sent out to have reinforcement bars added. Only this provisional die and
the "G" barred flag were used during this short period. Closed tear at top (extending into the N of CANADA) still a lovely strike of this very rare Bickerdike machine cancel, with only about 5 examples known. Ex Cloutier and Leigh Hamilton Bickerdike

Bickerdike Machine Used on a Special Delivery Cover, a "James Turner & Co." cover mailed on SEP.6.1899 (barred Bickerdike machine cancel) to Toronto, franked with two 1c Numerals and a 10c Special Delivery, all tied by the machine. A very rare

Hamilton F7 Bickerdike Barred Flag Trial Impression on Facing Slip, a very fine strike from the "B" machine (hub "00b"), dated on the first day of the new century, the slip also showing only the dater hub of "00a". At the beginning of 1900, the
top halves of the two 1898 dater hubs were recycled by adding a new bottom half with "00" inside. Very fine and quite rare, with only one other example known to us. Ex Cloutier and Leigh Hamilton Bickerdike Machine exhibits and still on Leigh page.
