Franked with a horizontal pair plus a single 3c Jubilees plus a 1c Jubilee (all tied by a fine impression of the Prescott #1 roller), either over-paying the single weight 8c rate by 2c, or under-paying the double weight 11c rate by 1c. The illustration shows a lovely rendering of the Toronto Head Office of the Imperial Bank of Canada, showing lots of people, horse and buggies, etc. Back of card announces opening of a new branch in Listowel. (Royal Academy of Music) which would have contained either sheet music, or a certificate to a student in Vancouver. There is a blue crayon notation "Letter Post" and "14c" and there are 5 Admiral stamps totaling 15c (including 1c War tax?). An interesting item for the Admiral collector. 154 316 image1952 20c Rate Subsequent A.R. Card, a registered article was sent from Midlandvale, Alberta and received at Calgary on July 16th 1952, and probably sent a first A.R. card. This subsequent card was mailed at a higher 20c rate on AUG.19.1952 from the “District Post Office Inspector / Calgary Alberta" (large c.d.s. in red ties 20c Paper Mills stamp) with an oval datestamp on back “Registration Branch / Calgary, Alberta” is dated AUG.25.1952.
