977 E/P   imageAssortment of Various Plate and Colour Proofs From the Queen Victoria Era (and one King Edward VII), includes the 1882 “Second Sideface” issue in multiples of 2 to 10 of a type, plus a bonus block of 12 of the 1sh, all in black on unwatermarked stamp paper. The 1891-5 trio includes a black-ink upper right plate proof on unwatermarked stamp paper, plus a colour trial in an unused reddish colour for the 2½d. There is a trio of the 2d “Pembroke” and the 1d “White Terrace” (in various colours - note that we are unsure if a couple might be cut squares from stationery).
