We counted 112 mostly different items, including postal cards (some with return portion), envelopes, 4 different 'Service" overprinted envelopes, some CPR and GTR illustrated cards, several U.P.U. cards, a few showing different shades or papers, private order items and more, both in unused and used condition, often with one of each. A quick glance immediately revealed many better items, including unused EN1 and EN2 ($100 each), unused EN3a ($65), unused EN4a ($65), unused EN8a ($65), used KLS2 ($65) to name just a few. 669 CVR/PC   imageAdvanced Collection of Postal Stationery - Part 9 - Unsorted #2, a medium box filled with a few hundred items, with a wide variety of different interesting items. We note envelopes and cards, including a collection of about 88 different 1972 Canada Multicolour Scene cards, each mailed in the 1972-1973 era, plus many other scene cards (1971 to modern, mint and mailed), a group of used Domestogrammes, some mint and used wrappers, mint and used elections envelopes, plus mint and used stationery envelopes and cards of all sorts. Also comes with a binder containing a collection of 41 different used and / or unused Aerogramemes and Air Letters, noting one with SPECIMEN, a used A3a ($75), A31 ($350), and more. The box is unchecked by us for individual values, but there is a good likelihood of scarce to valuable items in here. 670 CVR EN8b image1894 3c red Queen Victoria Stationery Envelope with "C.P. Co." Watermark, unused and written-up on a page, measuring 149 x 86 mm, with batonne lines 25 mm apart and clearly showing the watermark on the flap. Tiny bit of toning at left does not detract from this otherwise very fine and very rare item, this being one of only two believed to exist. A must have for the stationery collector.

The lot also includes CL43 Sioux Lookout to Rainbow Lake, MAR.9.1928 (25 pieces flown, AMCN2 c.v. $250), CL42 (x4, including APR.2.1929, interrupted flight to Aklavik), and 3 covers franked but not flown with CL28 (x6, two solo frankings and a strip of 4, Unitrade c.v. $900 total for stamps only). A nice lot for the semi-official collector, with some unusual flights present. These covers were flown on a series of flights along the Mackenzie River on June 12, or July 1, 1929, noting origin or destination postmarks from Waterways, Fort Good Hope, Fort Norman, Wrigley, Aklavik, Fort Smith, Fort Chipewyan, Arctic Red River, and Fort Simpson. 680 CVR   imageGroup of Over 250 World War II Military Blackout Cancels, majority are from Vancouver BC, but did note Victoria BC as well as some from Nova Scotia, noting mostly machine blackouts but also c.d.s.. The owner has noted interesting things such as inverted indicia, time changes, two different machines on same cover, etc. Many of the covers have corner card advertising or return addresses helping to identify the origin of the postmark, All but 10 are #8 size and we note several open on three sides or roughly opened, plus some fronts, still overall fine and a good lot for the specialist.
