Lot 4028 - COLLECTOR'S LIFETIME COLLECTION OFFERED INTACT HOUSED IN 15 BANKER'S BOXES, the main collection housed in about 110 stock albums which take up about ten of the boxes, the other five boxes contains "extra" albums, folders and pages, this is a worldwide collection with some focus on Greece as this was the collector's heritage, the collection is not well organized as it is not necessarily set up in chronological order, so an album can start in the middle, the have the classic issues followed by modern NH, there are a plethora of stamps from interesting and valuable classics to modern mint never hinged new issues, we have done our best to give an overall idea of the scope of the collection through the description and the scans, however it still is just a small fraction of this vast collection, there are literally anything from penny stamps to very valuable singles, condition varies with some faults to be expected, however plenty of sound fine-very fine stamps as well, here follows a sampling, Switzerland in two albums incl. early classics in addition to Strubel issues and the following issues, modern mint never hinged, semi-postals and air post, Japan in seven volumes with some earlier issues, followed by the earlier commems the much in "new issue" type NH material, two of the albums contain NH souvenir sheets, couple of books of US which are pretty mundane with the exception of a couple of 5c 1847, Duck stamps, some Hawaii, couple of albums with Central & South America where a Colombia #C316 imperf NH pair is hiding (signed Kessler, listed in 1966 Sanabria @ $100.00), China in one album, Asia book incl. Philippines, North Borneo/Labuan, Viet Nam, Russia with areas in two albums, Great Britain in four albums incl. classics with e.g three Penny Blacks (one mint, o.g., three margins), a number of classics incl. no. 108, Official issues incl. the scarce nos. O8 and O66 (both used, cv $8,250), Austria in five albums, France and Colonies in five albums, Italy in a couple of books, a dozen volumes of Germany and areas, Greece and areas in nine stockalbums, British Colonies/Commonwealth in 12 stockalbums incl.
