The Spring Collector's Series Sale - April 30 - May 1, 2018

The Spink U.S.A. 166th public auction on Monday April 30th and Tuesday May 1st is comprised of over 800 choice lots. The small but powerful U.S. offering includes rare and choice quality plate blocks from the 1880s to 1920, as well as rarities including a sound 10c St. Louis bear, 1869 and Pan-American inverted centers and a Rogers Aerial Post semi-official air mail, this is followed by an extensive offering of Canadian proofs, mostly in multiples including a block of twenty of the 1851 12d black, as well as a pleasing offering of issued stamps including high quality mint and used classics.

The second day is all foreign countries including British rarities, extensive classic Colombia featuring the Padre Posada collection, and other Latin American countries, Iran including inverted centers, another important offering of Italy and States, Nepal, significant Russia and Soviet Union, and general foreign.

The sale concludes with numerous and valuable lots of country and worldwide collections and accumulations.
