 WATERLOW RE-ENGRAVED ISSUE - "ATHENA" CRASH COVER TO AUSTRALIA: 22 Sept. 1936 env. (badly burnt) bearing the remains of a single
2/6d chocolate brown paying the 1oz double rate, sent from London by Imperial Airways Atlanta-class "Athena" to Sydney. The aircraft caught fire whilst refuelling at Delhi and the few items of recovered mail were sent on to the final destination.
