975 cover image1907 (Nov): Provisional "1D" on 5 s. salmon & green, handstamped at Georgetown, a used example tied to 1907 card rate cover to Bright & Sons in the Strand, London by "George Town / Grand Cayman" cds (Dec 9) in black. Roughly opened at top which is strange as Bright was a stamp dealer, and slight edge wear to envelope; reverse with 'Kingston / Jamaica' transit cds (Dec 17) and London arrival (1 Jan, 1908). Reverse also shows manuscript of former owner 'R.E.R. Dalwick'. File fold away from the fine adhesive, a very rare cover. Cert. RPSL (1978). (Image 1) (Image 2) (Image 3)
