1225 image1850: 6 cs. black, plate 2, used famous block of fifty (10 x 5), all cancelled by spider handstamps in black, described by Griebert and assigned by Ruiz de Arcaute to the Composition A, type I, placing it in the lower left part of the sheet, a few imperfections as would be expected, attached to card with notes on reverse indicating positions, touching in a few places although incredibly margins nearly all round, extremely fresh printing, very clean and crisp, this being the largest recorded used block from plate 2, an exhibition item of the greatest significance. (Servicio Nacional), both strips are cut into just two of the stamps in each strip otherwise four margins, strip of four the top stamp has a prefix fault at top, a spectacular cover, exhibition item, exceptionally rare, the only known example, unique. 1230 image1850: 6 cs. black, plate 2, used on large fragment of Judicial wrapper, comprising a block of four and two singles (types 3-4-11-12 and 25 and 27 respectively), and franked with nine 12 cs. lilacs (three pairs and three singles), all tied by a spider handstamp in black, the franking covering an 11 ounces (316gr) rate, with Valencia datestamp (2? Sept 1850) in red to the lower section, imperfections and some creasing and soiling, however an extremely rare combination, especially with a used block of four of the First issue, an outstanding high rate piece. 1231 image1850: 6 cs. black, plate 2, pair, types 28 and 29 used with pair of 6 r. blues, tied by a spider handstamp to a reduced Bill of Landing for the Brigantine Español Anunciación (5 Dec 1850), between SANTANDER and HAVANA (Cuba), with Santander datestamp and oval customs handstamp, reverse with receipt of the Ship's arrival in Cuba, some imperfections to the cover as is expected with rare Transatlantic covers, this being especially rare on account of the First Issue combination franking, both pairs exquisitely fresh, almost four margins, an exhibition piece.
