1037 image1857: 40 c. blue in two horizontal pairs, the left pair showing twice the second type with '0 stretto' (touched at left), the right pair showing a combination of type I & II with '0 largo' and '0 stretto', this one originally glued over the letter's edge and thereby folded, detached and incorrectly re-appended, nevertheless two fresh multiples with overall large margins, cancelleded each by central strikes of the large grill obliterator, the right pair in addition by framed "P.D" handstamp, "PARMA 15 APR 59" despatch cds and French "SARDAIGNE CULOZ" entry cds in red alongside on cover to Paris, reverse with TORINO transit and PARIS arrival (19 APRIL) cds's. In spite of its imperfections, a most interesting item to France full of postal history content, the exceptional franking paying correctly twice the the 80 centesimi double rate in the tariff of March 1855 with Sardinian mediation, cert. 1043 imageAdhesives of Sardinia used in the former Ducato di Parma, 1859 (Aug 22): Entire letter from Parma to Piacenza, bearing Sardinia IV. emission 20 c. dark blue, a fine and fresh left marginal adhesive with fair to huge margins, tied by light PARMA cds, framed "P.D" alongside, reverse with arrival cds of the next day. An extremely rare usage of a Sardinian adhesive in August 1859 during the first period of the provisional government of the former Ducato di Parma. 1181 image1918/64: Old time stamp collection in four stock books, packed with mostly used stamps, often from local postal use, including some unused, some varieties, proofs and a few Polish settlements in Italy. A treasure trove for the specialist in the pre 1939 period. The later material is mainly unused never hinged with considerable representation of 'Goznak' overprints andes with some fine topical sets. Additionally a small remainder collection of central Lithuania, Port Gdansk and Warsaw local post. Condition varies in places, although numerous fine. 1184 1938/44ca.: Accumulation of covers and cards during WW2, Deutsche Post Osten or Generalgouvernement, with mostly items of commercial use. Many circulated inside the Occupied Zone, but there is also some material to abroad, including a 30 g. stationery postcard to Argentina. There is stationery overprinted often on former Polish stationery and former Polish stationery barred prepared to serve as forms (unused).  A smaller part are philatelic items. There are also some items emanating from the Polish Occupation of the Olza (Zaolzie) region that belonged to Czechoslovakia, most, in the describers opinion, are questionable. In total 550ca. items.
