'ardesia violaceo', four fine and fresh single examples with good to huge margins, all tied by light 'sbarre' mute obliterator, the two leftmost stamps in addition by a framed three-line handstamp, single circle "MODENA 2 NOVEM. 59" despatch cds and framed RACCOMANDATA alongside, on entire registered letter to Vignola. File fold through the second stamp from left ironed out, nevertheless a spectacular franking. Certs. A. Diena (1966), Gazzi (1976), E. Diena (1993) Sassone = € 9'000.rnNote: Interesting postal history item. The rate for the Modena inland rates was changed the day before on 1 November, but this entire was posted at the main post office still using the previous rate with twice 20 centesimi for a double rate letter up to 15 grams and a fixed registration fee of 40 centesimi. Cataologue value Yvert = € 5040.  'Fighting Pollution', 90 c, 17 minisheets containig 170 stamps as imperforate colour proofs, all unmounted, there are duplicated assemblys of colour, but there is a good variation of the sheets, these are not quoted in Yvert (like Yvert 881). 1135 image1891-1920: Group of six unused stamps, three 5 f. on green, one unmounted and two mounted, two 5 f. mauve mounted; there is a 25 c. green with a thin, NOT counted in the catalog value. In the same design the 50 c. Telephone stamp for 5 minutes from 1886, used, with clear cancel "S.T. CONDAMINE MONACO", perfect condition and extraordinary centering.
